How an old dog km5050 in a client warehouse that is showing a jam at the eject switch. I have gone through the switches and can’t seem to find the one for eject. Any ideas?

look on page 266 of the service manual, item 24 its in the eject assy.
Atone know where this switch is? Manuals are no help

Yep. You have to remove the entire eject assembly to see it. Now have to try to find another eject assembly as this one is falling apart!
The KM-5050 is on the parts no longer available list but you're in luck. The fuser/exit of this machine is the same as a printer only version they might still sell so a few parts are available and your exit assembly is one of them. BTW, the KM-5050 was launched in Oct 2006, it's time for an upgrade.

Tell me about it! This client loves this old dog and I wish they would upgrade.
Get one from any km-series. Two screws just slides out. I deal with this series all the time, and keep stuff from the km-2530 and up. Kyocera sometimes change stuff but keep using their old technology....
