Randomly getting cf21b error when scanning. Have had 70 occurrences of it over the last several months. Firmware is up to date, can scan to any pc while another is continuously pinging it. Have installed the extra 1 gig memory as suggested by another tech.
I had to scan 534 pages total before I got the error. They stated that it can happen when scanning any amount of pages, even single pages.
Have performed u021 and will wait and see.
Any info would be great. Thanks

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I'm sorry, it's a m2540dw. Replaced the main pwb on 10/15. F21b back again today, 10/19.
I was sending a fax and someone came up and tried to scan 1 page and the f21b popped up again.
