dp 7110 dog ear/ folding

I have a task alfa 4052ci..
the adf is dog earing on the long edge... leading edge... closest to the front...
I checked the path and found no glue gunk or staples or labels...
messed with the right hinge adjustment but can't get the dog ear/folding to go away...
trying to get some ideas...
any help is appreciated...

make sure the white platen is installed correctly, take it of lay it on the glass and lower the df

Correct, if the platen mat is askew it impedes one or two of the gate flaps.

make a copy and crash it to try find the point to wheres folding the paper, does it make a noise when its going thru the ADF asif the paper is catching ?

Bulletin H035 addresses the dog eared originals.

after the paper passes the slit glass... it hits a section that has rollers and springs... and individual guides... one of the guides had a knick in it... It was towards the edge.... I smoothed it out... and swapped spots with a better guide and then applied scotch tape to it to make it smoother... issue resolved... since then I have worked on another kyocera task alfa with just rollers at that point where a roller fell out and the paper was jamming on the roller holder... I removed the roller holder which was at the left edge and issue resolved...

to get to this guide remove the front plastic cover from the adf 3 screws from bottom 2 from top... it snaps off... then the guide usually is just two screws and slides out... it looks like the guide might have a some kind of attachment in the back... like a wire or such but never did... do your due dilligence just in case...
