300k is the maintenance cycle, where all consumables should be replaced. If over 300k find out if that's been done. If under, expect to do it.

I don't think it can meet all the scanning security requirements of today, but overall a good machine.
I have a 6026cdn color printer I purchased about three years ago.
I knew it's image belt was rated for 300K.
Wasn't sure if it was the same for the mono-chrome machines with a photo-receptor drum.
The 2560 will be replace an ancient analog Xerox 5334 in my home office.

Don't forget the operation hours on things like boards, panel, and HDD. Those things are page count independent. As long as the machine is powered on they are aging.
I understand this too. Surprising though how long circuit boards will last in the right environment. The HD however can be very different story depending on the brand name and type used.Originally Posted by darry1322

I've seen Stratos hit 1M and more. I don't think that you mentioned a count.
Yes you'll have difficulty scanning to email or SMB, but FTP still works quite nicely with the little utility.
Keep in mind that at low volume you won't get rated life from the ASi drums. Also lower your sleep timer to 5 minutes or less. It only takes a minute or two to fire up, and the fuser lasts much longer.
The document feeders aren't very good. I hope you weren't going to do huge amounts of scanning.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Well that may be so, but the drivers and other software items are available for up to Win10.
