Hi All.
Need help with this one. I'm doing mostly KM/Brother and Toshiba stuff, but large customer wants me to see this Kyo.
The black text looks blueish and images look blurred.
I have read here about problems with color registration related to IDC shutter and transfer belt and will check them.
Have not access to Firmware or parts other than consumables, so any help would be appreciated.

Lets start with a quality sample please. Try this:
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yes, thanks to you Sir I have these color charts for some time on my phone memory and USB flash drive.
Will try them when touch machine, any common problems with these?

First of all, I'm sorry you have to service this machine, not a very dependable one.
Do the color registation process in service mode and get it as close as possible
Install specific firmwre for this issue.
Fine tune in service mode again.
PS. Before starting, remove and resesat drums, develoers and transfer belt.

It's quite common to lose a single color completely. The drum and developing units often make poor electrical contact. Simply re-seating the drums and developing units can bring back the single color. Yes there is a firmware to improve color registration. Keep in mind that it is often necessary to run the color registration several times to achieve correct color calibration. I've had instances where it took (8) times to get color registration pulled back in. If your customer is hoping for photo quality they will be disappointed. =^..^=

Problem solved...
In fact there wasn't REAL problem with the machine thankfully. But customers like this should be charged twice per normal just because of their stupidity.
Went there print report from machine looks good...Hmm, go ahead and printed BC charts from PC, all of them looks pretty normal. After that got confidence to do calmly calibration and color registration(ONLY 3 times), I know I was lucky today
At last she manage to find a file with the problem, printed again same blueish s**t. That file was scanned from another machine somewhere and they printed this ONLY file with problems and yelled for service.
