It could be that the read sensor in the hopper assembly is messed up, have you checked it? And since it's such an odd issue have you spoke with your local Kyo rep? They see all the weird stuff all the time and may be able to offer some insight.

Yes I have tried the REID board and I am working with the hot line now. They are telling me it could be that I am using TK-5197 and not TK-5199 because it is a Copystar. I find that weird because all the other colors are running TK-5197 with no problems.
Well I found it..yay The machine was running TK-5197 toner. I turned the machine off, installed a TK-5199, turned it back on and there it is in the report. Turned it off, installed the TK-5197C and there it is back in the report. Im thinking it had to see the TK-5199C to register it, then it doesn't care which one you use...go figure.
