    Like he said. There should be a small 3mm stub at each end of that guide. What you need is proper spacing, which you're not getting if that stub is gone.

    It doesn't have to be a shoulder screw, but it spreads out the impact a little better if your enduser really slams the door hard. Just predrill and thread a hole all the way through the guide the thread in a screw to the correct depth. You can use a little superglue to keep it in that position, or a locknut would work if you don't overtighten it. Please look closely at the picture that I posted. =^..^=

    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
