Kyocera 4052ci manual toner door release

Is there a way to manually open the toner doors to replace the toner on a Kyocera 4052ci?

Would you mind sharing where this option is or how you did it?

I can't find out how for the life of me.

The user manual states on page 8-75 that the "Open toner cover" option is available under [System Menu/Counter] key > [Adjustment/Maintenance] but the Open toner cover option is nowhere to be found.

    Thanks!

Found it in the Service Manual. U159 Toner container function setting. Select the Container lock and you have three options. I had a low toner that I wanted to replaced before I delivered the copier so I chose the Low setting. That made the toner door open on the Yellow and then I replaced the toner and then reset the option back as it was. (Empty).

I was taught the magnet trick at school but now it never works. Is there another step I'm not remembering? I hear the click.. Then what?

after the click you have to pull open that little door , then move the lever on the top to disengage the toner

You can also do it from the Command Center RX web interface. To the right of the toner level display is a button that says "Unlock".

You just need to use a stronger magnet.

I keep some choice 3.5" HDD actuator magnets around that will yank the secret cover right off, when approached at the upper-half... super handy when unboxing machines.

My magnetic screw holder pan barely opens the door
