taskalfa 3500 scaner

Can anybody tell me how to use this machine as a scaner too.
I installed drivers but i can't scan .
Also when i try to scan immediatly fro paner it scans but i don't know where it stores the files.
Does it store files to copiers HD or to whitch envelop in computer?

How is it connected? via network or usb? If it is via network, please refer to smb scanning issues on Copytechnet as this model does not have smbv2 capabilities and will have to setup via FTP (also on copytechnet). If it is usb you need a push and a pull for it to scan.

I assume you mean 3500i. You can scan to usb thumb drive. Go into address book and set up a scan to smb Windows share. Or go into command workcentre and set up SMTP email then address book for destination email address.

I think he means as a Pull scan.

WIA might work, but there is no official driver. Seems like a very overpriced purchase for pull scanning
