wow! Phil B is somebody having a bad day? the copies have a distinct grainy look like fine wood fibers most notably in large solids.then randomly it will click go off and come back on by itself without turning off or on the main switch manually I didnt realize this was so hard to understand. any ideas would help.
Thank You Everybody
No.. not a BAD day .. just LACK of information such as:
Page counts on drum/dev unit.
Does it WIPE off or is it bonded well to the page?
Type paper n weight?
Is it humid in the room?
What page count on fuser?
It is kinda tiring to have to pull TEETH to get info from "techs".. IF they EVER called a tech support help desk.. They would be asked those SAME questions...
Sooo
Are you a Tech?

It's gotta be 15 years old. Let it die, man.. just let it die.
You're losing developer bias. You likely need a high voltage board. See my first thought for permanent fix.
Thanks Phil B, it only has 109,000 copies.yes it is fused, 20# bond, no humidity.seems to have electrical interference like a corona arch or some high voltage leak.
Thanks Everybody
I would but you know the story nonprofit no money.
The interlock switches on the left side would be suspect, as well as the transfer roller, drum, developer unit and the main charge corona.
