Taskalfa 356ci...complaints??
I have a user who likes to complain about everything...however, he hasn't been happy with his KM C350 and so I was thinking of having him upgrade to a TA 356ci. I would like to know if there have been any huge complaints about this little guy? I wanted to upgrade him to that reading somewhere on this forum that I can upload the color profiles on the machine...Yes?
Looking for small and reliable and that maybe make him happy with color options and not too expensive...
Thanks for the thoughts. -J

Re: Taskalfa 356ci...complaints??
I've had to change out the ADF feed and sep assemblies just because my customers do a lot of scanning, (attorneys). We've been having multifeed issues with the ADFs and the rollers not reaching their yeilds. New rollers and sep pads seem to work, but would keep an extra car stock of these just in case.
Other than that, just had a few premature drum changes which we got warranty for.
Not sure on how the color will compare to the Konica Minolta.
Do they need A3 size?

These have not been a great model for us. Too many machines have needed multiple replacements of devs, transfer belts and drums due to marks and spotting. ADF is low volume. Better to go to a TA2552ci.

If they like KM color output, be careful. The Kyoceras do not lay down heavy color. As far as color profiles, good luck, they are not exactly the same as Ricoh, Konica, etc.

I personnel dislike that model, they do not perform well to me, I would go with the TA 3553ci. your customer would be much happier.

I agree...a TA 2552ci would better suit IMHO.

All A4 desktops suffer somewhere, this little jewel is no exception. Drum marks, waste issues, and no colour charts availble as no HD, like everyone else says, step up to A3 based models, they are wonderful.
