kyocera 5052ci duplex jams and error c2500

I have a machine that was jamming in the duplex and coded out with a c2500.

It was stopping and the 2nd set of duplex drive rollers as they were not turning. I happened to have a right side unit in stock...it was partially damage in shipping. But, I was able to salvage those needed parts off the customers unit.

Now it's still jamming in the duplex, but at different points. Mostly at the entrance now at the first set of duplex rollers.

The paper feed motor that drives it seems to be strong and doesn't stop. All the duplex sensors test ok. It has the newest Firmware.

Has anyone had duplex issues on the "2" series? Or encountered the c2500 error?

Good Timing. Just today C2500 on a 6052ci. Motor is turning, but I am ordering the drive unit and board. Should be installing tommorow so I will report back.

Might add. On my machine I cannot reset the C2500 code so it may not be the same issue.

Please let me know. This machine has had 7 c2500 in the last week. But, they can be reset. The code has only came up after a duplex jam.

Installed new PF drive unit ( comes with PWB attached). Machine reset and worked normally. Looks like that was it for my call. Will watch and update if needed.

When I first went onsite it was 440X code, always jamming before the DU2...because the 2nd set of rollers were not moving.

Have had similar cases in our market.
Mostly conveying unit clutches are related.(rusted!!)
DU CL1, DU CL2 or MFP clutch blocking the feed drive unit.

The middle clutch may relate, some times clutch slip and only show issue in duplex mode and not single copy
