First thing I would try is the adjustment settings in Maintenance mode.....

    Image adjustment
U464 ID correction operation setting (Calib)
    U469 Color registration adjustment (Auto)
U411 Adjusting the uneven density (Normal Mode) <40 ppm only>
U464 ID correction operation setting (Calib)
    U410 Adjusting the halftone automatically

First off, what model are we working with? Secondly, have you changed the color profile that the machine uses? Depending on the model we are working with you may have the option to install/change the color profile the unit uses which results in different color outputs. The standard Kyo profile works for business color, but other profiles work better if the user is printing pictures or graphics. What is the customers primary printout? Business graphics, pictures, brochures? A little more info would help,

U 485 and change color profile to RH. It will be a world of difference.

Color matching is very hard every machine will be a little different. Kyocera Color has ALWAYS been poor compared to Konica, Canon.

IE banding, Streaks, Fill and gradation first to last copy same run

the only time Kyocera color was good was when they had machines made by Konica.

the latest iteration of Kyocera machines finally have decent colour, the scanner still seems pretty average though

When my customers get this picky, I get best results from just showing them how to adjust the driver on their computer to alter the colors and balance, and how to save/load that final product. They usually have a handy reference (letterhead, company logo color proof, etc) with which to compare. the 52/53 series are definitely generating less calls for color q

Depending on the model, if it has U485,

RH Color Profile seems better for Blues

CA Color Profile seems better for Purples

Default Color Profile seems better for Greens.

You can set 2 color profiles. one will be the default, and the second color profile can be accessed when printing by going to printing preferences --> Imaging --> Color Reproduction --> Custom table. There's also other built in color profiles they can play with in this drop down menu.

Colors will differ from model to model, brand to brand, Application to application, emulation to emulation, and even monitor to monitor. It's never going to be perfect. There's way too many variables to expect the color be exactly what they see on the screen. Changing the color profiles and educating them on the color reproduction drop down menu usually suffices.

Kyocera is "office color" when sold and used as such, they work great.
