I’ve been dealing with this issue on a couple other copiers as well, but when our client scans something smaller than letter size such as a payroll check, it will sometimes reorient it to landscape and prints on legal paper. It does it drivers licenses and other small objects. The leading edge is set to top left. Only way I have found to get around it is to lay a letter size page on top of the other item. Anyone have this issue and had it fixed?
Select original size statement-r. You're telling it what to scan rather than letting the machine figure it out. I usually do a program key or shortcut.
Like Tony says, just select the original size that you want scanned. IMHO it's about the same amount of trouble as laying the paper behind it.
The machine is trying to match paper size, and clearly you won't have any ISO B8 paper loaded. Even if you did, it's too short to feed through this (or almost any MFP). =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Don't must current machine have ID/Card copy feature in copy settings you can shortcut as well.
Thank you all, was thinking about doing a new shortcut key for it but wanted to see any other options, and now it looks like that’s what they will have to use.
