    Kyocera AC 220v AC 110v

    Hello all
    I'm going to import Kyocera 5501 and 8001 from USA
    the AC in USA is 110v in my country the AC is 220v

    any one know if the LVPS Support 220v and 110v
    or I need to replace the power supply
    what about KM and fuser unit or I need to use 220v fuser

    Seems like it would be easy to step down your 220v to 120v.

    Ok that's good but I want to up it from 110v to 220v from USA 110v AC to Europe 220v AC
    if you know how can I do that without replacing the power supply

    if it was that easy why build 2 different boxes? just build the LVPS!

    i think it will take more than PS and fuser.

    Maybe just replace every part that has 110 or 220 part numbers with the 220v version. But that's just a guess and may still ruin your machine.

    Im a xerox tech
    In xerox no need to change any part
    Just area code from USA TO EURO
    the power supply is same support 110v and 240v
    But in kyocera i dont know any thing
    So if any one know if kiocera like xerox please told me

    Kyocera is definite NOT a XEROX

    easy fix 220 to 110 only using one leg DONE!

    This is a lot of unnecessary work.

    Maybe a silly question but why not import Euro models!? what country are you located?
