Kyocera M6525idn Color copies and prints are disable

I got three Kyocera C M6526 and I cant get these machines to print or copy in Color. I format the SD card and choose default to factory in the service mode, I change everything in common settings to color, I can take the color toners out and it wont ask for color and will print in b/w. I have done everything and cant figureout why do these copiers print and copy only in color. I ungraded the firmware and tried through the drivers. I dont understand how the last user disable color

Since you say (3) times that it prints in monochrome and (1) time that it prints in color, should we assume that the prints are monochrome (or color)?

    Is it a M6526 or a M6525?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Check system settings & make sure it's not set to print B&W when it's out of color toner. It never lets you know it's out of a color when it's turned on.
This is a great idea by Kyocera but very poorly executed.
    Hope that helps !

Pardon my potential ignorance, but in these desktop models, are not the "idn" units B/W only? if it were color capable, would it not be "cidn"?

There is no M6525idn, M6525cidn, M6526idn. Only a M6526cidn. I think, judging by the fact that he/she removed color cartridges, it's almost certainly a M6526cidn which is specifically a color engine and has no monochrome counterpart.
