5501i Not waking out of sleep mode

Hey guys, I've got a 5501i that's not waking up out of sleep mode. The panel still lights up the Energy Saver button and panel makes sounds when pressing button but otherwise does not wake the panel up and requires a restart.


What I've tried:

- Updating the FW

- Taken off KFS

- Disconnected network cable

- Tried different power outlet and power cord

- Put in new main board and verified all connectors are seated properly

Any thoughts?

i had one recently, but it was the main pwb.... but you may try the HDD

There was a bulletin E-57 re machines not coming out of sleep
“The CPU processing in the main PWB might be stopped due to the inrush current when the machine enters into the sleep mode when setting Quick Recovery mode (Light Sleep), or Energy Saver mode (Deep Sleep) in the machine under a condition (Note1). Then, it might cause that the LCD touch panel does not display while the machine can drive. (This phenomenon can be cleared by turning off and on the main power switch.)”
Main board was changed. You can check if yours is affected.
