Question About Pricing A Used 3500i

Hello everyone!!!....Let's say you've got a Kyocera 3500i with around 400k on it. It's making great copies and fuser looks great, no problems at all. It would be put immediately under a maintenance agreement so seller would be responsible for any future repairs.

What would be your price to sell it?

How about rent on a copier in that size range and is around 7 years old, what would something like that rent for where you are?

Thank you so much for any help!!

Besides the parts issue that tonerkiller mentioned, it also has limited SMB scanning capabilities and no technical support from Kyocera. Our company stopped selling these units several years ago due to such issues.

Are you saying the SMB is limited because it is 1.0? I know you cannot scan to a thumb drive from the 3500.

You can scan to a flash drive, and if you get the local firmware from Kyocera, you can scan using SMB V2 and 3 I believe.
    Hope that helps !

Are you sure about it scanning to flash drive? I read the specs a couple days ago and it did not say scan to USB, I looked at the 3501 and it had USB listed. I was trying to answer the question if it could scan to a flash drive.

Yes, it will definitely print from and scan to a USB/Flash drive.
    Hope that helps !

When these machines can make it to a million copies, why would you stay away from that number of copies? Thanks for your opinion!
