Kyocera Taskalpha 4500 Developer Housing fix

Is there any developer material in the developer housing of these machines. I have several that are bad and want to fix them (Light copies) Wondering if I could just vacuum them out and wipe the mag roller and fill with OEM Toner... Any help would be so appreciated....

Check your service manual or TB1, it will tell you whether the system is mono-component or dual.

Thanks !! That was a GREAT Idea... It said this...
    Development system-
    Touch down developing systemDeveloper: 2-component
Toner replenishing: Automatic from the toner container and toner hopper
So I guess it does use a developer material... THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE !!!

Yes, starting with the Alphard I and II's most Kyoceras are dual component developing. For those of us used to the Falcon I, II, III, & Stratos it's a bit disappointing. Monocomponent developing as a rule requires very little service, barring generic toner. I know of no source of Kyocera developer only. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
