Km-6030 paper deck

Hi, I have a KM-6030 which my customer bless them have broken the lift wires on paper deck 2, when ordering the new wires (they have managed to break 3 of the 4) they are over £50 each!!!!!! This to me is a total rip-off when you consider that the same parts for a Canon are only £1.25 each. Does anybody know another way round this??

Most kyocera parts are like that, sometimes its cheaper to buy the whole option instead of circuit boards and the like.

You could try to send them back under warranty, try saying they snapped under load.

I had to order tray 1 & 2 deck feed assy because the customer broke the paper empty actuators and you can't get the actuator - i charged the customer £500+ and labour for accidental damage.
