KM-3530 - Duplex does not duplex after 2 sets

    Hello:
We have a KM-3530 that after 2 sets of duplexing, it stops duplexing and continues to print all onto single sided prints.
Called Hytec Dealer Services & they are not familiar with this problem and suggested performing sim. 20, and then to reset back to "inch". That did not work.
They also said that it possibly may need a firmware upgrade.
Has anyone seen this problem or know what we need to get this back to normal?
    Thanks in advance.

Did you try the trusty old sim 906???

You would be surprised what that will fix.

    Does it have an HD-70?

    Hi Jimbo:
We have not tried sim 906. We will give it a try tomorrow when we go back out.
I do not yet know if it has a HD but if so will try disconnecting it to see if it is related to it. Customer has it hooked up on the network so it is possible it has one.
    Thanks for your input.
Will get back as soon as we figure it out.

    Be careful Claudio,
If the problem occurs while copying the fault could be with the internal HDD in the back of m/c.
If it happens when printing check the Print System HD, also check the RAM disk and HDD settings in the driver (under device settings) match the configuration of the machine!

    Thanks for all your help.
    We finally got it corrected.
    I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!
It turns out my tech was leaving out the part the was the copier was kicking up a jam when it would start single-side copying,
therefore we were spinning our wheels for nothing .
It ended up being a bad mag. clutch.

Sometimes when you want something done right, it really is better to do it yourself!
