KM 3040/3035

Hello friends,
My KM 3040 have black spots some time shade on the copy , When I checked the Developing Unit the Magnetic Roller have some spots on it ,I clean it with fingure ,But the Toner become clots on ,I remove all the TONER put in the SUN give some heat and then put this TONER in the Unit, Now the copy is ok but after TWO day have the Same prob,Please i need help what i do , The Image unit is totally new with 12400 copies the Total counter is 3,39,680 right now,this is the 2nd Image unit in the copier.
Please any suggestion.

Put the toner in the sun? I would vacuum out the DV-Unit, and put some new toner in it.

replace the toner and used orignal toner.please contact me 03017467009

it is about toner.Empty and vacuum the developin unit.Clean the magnet roller.Put a different toner and use sim 130.Dont put the same toner cartridge or toner again and please write here your used toner brand (ex:katun)...

Like all mono-component toner systems, you can experience "mottling" (at least that is what we called it when I worked on Canon products). It is common in environments with high humidity or where temperatures get quite cold at night.

Essentially what happens is some oily substance gets on the mag roller. It could be finger oil or just humidity. The toner sticks to the oil building up that nice repeating pattern on the roller. For mild cases you can dry-wipe the affected areas of the mag roller with a clean towel. For more extensive cases you may need to vacuum out the developing unit and clean the mag roller with alcohol. It only takes a few minutes for the alcohol to dry. On Kyocera products run sim 130 to refill the developing unit. Then run a drum refresh for good measure. =^..^=

Thanks Black cat for your help,so every time if i remove all the toner from the developing unit for cleaning I SHOULD RUN SIM 130 ? Or just fill the unit with TONER ? I usually fill the UNIT with out RUNNING SIM 130. I used KATUN refill bottle TONER.

Either let sim 130 fill the developing unit, or do it yourself. It makes no difference. There may be some time delay or false toner add messages if you add too much or too little toner. Simulation 130 always adds just the right amount. It uses the toner sensor. You do not. =^..^=

If you happened to tamper with the doctor blade on top of the magroller then it will always be imperfect.Just drywipe the mag roller as told by Blackcat scratching with the rug btwn the mag roller n your nail.pass some paper edge between the magrllr and doctor blade to remove any particles in between.
