    Was the stupid drum after all. The two used drums I tested had the same similar problem. Of all the luck...

    of all the luck in the world buddy! both drums you tested has the same prob and coincidently same image?!

    hmmmmh.... tell your shop head to throw all those stupid used drums and other used stuffs so atleast it may not add up to the trouble when repairing the machine.

    it's common for those copiers, working in bad condition (dirt, humidity). You can see those dots on the surface of drum(when you have this problem), just pay attention

    a word on parts

    my understanding is that all parts for the km 4030/35 models are refurbished... especially drums... I have had drums in maintenance kits that were just as bad as the drums I was replacing... on numerous occasions... wondering... is there a way to recondition the drums besides the drum refresh...????
