Kyocera taskalfa 300ci "PLEASE HELP URGENT"
Hi everybody
My taskalfa 300ci is not fast enough not even 17 ppm when printing color pictures. This machine print 10 pages and than I got a message on the screen "add toner and calibration 40 sec" and than after 40 seconds it will print another 10 pages and again I have to wait. It's a brand machine less than a week. The machine has disappoint me a little bit.
All calibration, color; dev refresh; drum refresh ; color registration; ac calibration; gray adjustment and firmware update has been perform. I also change the setting default to short calibration and calibrating time per pages set to off. All the toners are new. By the way I am a Kyocera Technicien support to the caribbean.

the old machines (km-c3232 etc) dropped the speed when printing pages with high coverage. it said so in the specs, and i guess the taskalfas do that too.

Well the new update fix alot of issues, but in order to make it print faster, there is a simulation mode can increase the buffering of the machine, and makes it print faster, we used this simulation since most
of our users use mac computers, and kyocera is too slow with mac. so the japanese guy said to change the maintenance mode 340 from 190 to 250 or more if you need, and this will increase the memory and makes it faster. hope it helps you guys. It helped us.

Yes, Long calibration is the correct setting. This will allow the copier to run LONGER between calabrations.
