| In my experience that's not how it works on the Falcon III. The fax function is defaulted and unchangeable at auto paper select, so faxes will print off on whatever paper is available and what is the closest match. There is a table in the manual designating which paper is the closest match and in what order paper sizes are chosen.
This came up when my own office people came to me to say that when letter paper runs out, the faxes will print out on legal or ledger or whatever happens to be in the machine, and does not give a "Load Paper" indication. The answer to that, is to designate a special media type like "colored", then specify that faxes must print onto the special media type "colored". When the "colored" tray runs out and faxes are ready to be printed, a "Load Colored Paper" indication is displayed.
This is just a long way of saying that your problem does not have anything to do with the presence or absence of a specific paper size. Faxes always auto paper select to any paper loaded, and are enlarged or reduced to fit. =^..^= |
