That's a communication error between the duplex PWB and the main PWB, and it's occurred 30 times in two weeks and 5 times in the last two days. At first I thought there might be a problem with the duplex drawer connector until it occurred to me that the duplex PWB isn't on the drawer. It's on the rear frame under the fuser drive assembly.

And that brings me to my theory. A few months ago the fuser drive motor pinion shaft and helical gear failed, creating a fine dusting of steel shavings over the duplex PWB. I cleaned up as much of the dust as I could, but did not touch the board. I believe that the steel shavings are creating unintended conductivity paths on the duplex PWB.

It will be interesting if this works. I took a soft brush and compressed air to remove as much of the steel dust as possible. Time will tell if it makes any difference. Have you seen anything like this? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

No errors in the last 24 hours. I might have fixed something. Updates later. =^..^=

    Follow up:
The C0460 codes are still showing up once or twice a week, plus more than average J63 jams & Z-folds. The duplex PWB was replaced this morning. Time will tell...
