Has anyone ever seen where the client can't raise the feeder (on a KM-5050) higher than a few inches? Seems as though it is hitting something, but we can't see any reason for it. Causes them to slam it up and down.
Thanks
Kelly

It is very simple , look at the back of the feeder, there is small plate screwed to the back of the Document feeder(screwed to the arms of DF from the back), the small plate has like small stick that prevent the feeder from lefting up. release the that screw and adjust it. Hope you understand me, let me know what happen and i can send you the photos if you still have problem.
Good luck
These document processors have a bracket that can be mounted on the hinges a little differently to limit the document processor height, for "Accessibility". Take a look at the DP installation instructions to see a good illustration of this.
Oh, what the hell...

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
