Color registration keeps shifting on task alfa solution

I contacted the help desk and was told to go into mode u467

    turn registration off

then cycle machine off and on...

then to print a registration sheet...

sometimes this works if it does then go back into u467 and turn it back on...

    cycle machine off and on...

then go back to color registration and check...

if it holds then you end...

if it does not then you go into mode u467...

make sure color registration is set to off...

then exit out to main machine and go from there...

you would then set color registration

go back into mode 467 and turn color registration

    cycle power and check registration...

    settings would hold...

with the task alfas however... they will drift back to the same bad color registration problem...

this truly can be caused by the transfer belt but that is doubtful...

here is the fix as presented by not the help desk but one of kycera's systems engineer...

    STEPS TO DO COLOR REGISTRATION

    PURPOSE FOR THIS DOCUMENT.

IF YOU FIND THAT COLOR REGISTRATION KEEPS SHIFTING...

    STEP 1 RUN U119

    STEP 2 RUN U412

STEP 3 RUN U464 AC CALIBRATION

STEP 4 CYCLE MACHINE OFF AND ON

    STEP 5 RUN DRUM REFRESH

    STEP 6 RUN DEVELOPER REFRESH

    STEP 7 RUN COLOR CALIBRATION

    STEP 8 RUN COLOR REGISTRATION

    STEP 9 RUN GRAY SCALE

I just thought someone would like to know...

With a few added steps (u119, u412), this is the typical color calibration on TASKalfa. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Would this be applicable to the voyagers?

The important thing that I've found is to always run Color Calibration after Registration. Running Gray Adjust does the same thing, since the machine runs calibration before starting. I don't recall having the same problem with the voyagers, but after all the registration problems I've had with the taskalfas, I am in the habit of making calibration my last step on all kyoceras.

It's a little different, simpler with the Voyagers:

STEP 1 Turn of Auto Color Registration in U467, exit service mode

STEP 2 Turn on Auto Color Registration in U467, exit service mode

    STEP 3 RUN Developer REFRESH

    STEP 4 RUN COLOR CALIBRATION

STEP 5 RUN COLOR REGISTRATION (detailed)

    STEP 6 RUN GRAY SCALE

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

Corrected: it was supposed to say "On" (but you knew that)
I was just testing you. =^..^=

I have a CS3253CI It wont let me run the u119. Not sure why. Put in 4 new drum units whith copier on (had no idea it should be off) no other machine requires to be off when install new drums), all dum counters apear clear to 0 except cyan drum. This is a really strange model! I better stick with Konica Minolta or Canon!

For an Iris II check that the rubber shipping spacers have been removed from the developing roller. Check that the developing roller shifts smoothly at the front & back when you press the actuator. =^..^=
