217 infected files, and it was replicating rapidly. The tricky element to this virus is the UnInstall file further re-infects every time you try to uninstall.
I went by time/date and stopped all process and services that I could not identify. Malwarebytes snagged 217 files, but not the worst ones. Watch for "BrowserHelperSrv. exe" and VT Installer. It creates hundreds of copies of the configuration files found in every Windows program. Again I just deleted every file after a specific date/time all named "desktop. ini". It also had a re-director popping up hundreds of browser windows, and changing all my browser settings.
Four hours of my life wasted chasing a spreading virus. Uggh!

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I updated my Win8.1 laptop about 2 weeks ago with a 200Mb(recommend)update.... fffff.... I hate that.
Now my Laptop runs like a feasted-@ss-slug-up-hill-in-a-head-wind....
I most likely will never update to Win10 as I'm informed it has no method to turn off Win Update (wcault.exe)

How big is the actual *.exe file. ?
I'm looking for mostly platform portable applications.
Being part of the Kyocera software suite it would be fully installed an listed in the Windows Registry.
That means it most like will not run on a USB stick when used on another machine.
Looks ok from the screen shot.

The executable is about 4MB, but that doesn't necessarily tell you how much more will be downloaded during installation. I'll be the guinea pig.

Right here sir:
Malware scan of PrinterUtility.exe (Star Micronics Device Software) 55a080a4641e6aa68a92487ad71ebedce3504837 - herdProtect
It's still untested, so use care. =^..^=

My Virus scan check the downloaded file all ok....
What is the MD5 on your end.
If your using the iTToobox there is a button in the SOFTWARE tray call HASH FILE: you can run SHA1 , MD5 etc test with that function.
You can move the Hashfile.exe app out of the software and run in from command prompt. Let me know if theres any bugs with it.
HASH MD5 = 5F8CA62A497076D139DC9429252E3BA2BD868F1C
