    Ricoh vs Kyocera-Mita

I have noticed differences between Ricoh Aficio 350-2035 feeder functions and Kyocera-Mita KM-2530-4035 feeders. The key differences I see and that I am wondering about are that with these Ricoh machines when you put your originals in the feeder the copier starts making the copies as it scans the originals. The Kyocera-Mita's are different in that they wait until all or most of the originals have been scanned and then start making the copies. What I was wondering is, is there a way to make the Kyocera to work the same way as the Ricoh perhaps via a setting so the copies are being made as they are being scanned? Or is this how the machine works? Any help appreciated, thank you.

Try sim U331. It sounds like it's set to Face-Up (Memory); try Face-Down (Normal). I'm guessing it's sending it to the finisher, so this will make it slower because it has to flip each page. Face-Up (Speed) will print in reverse order, so that's not recommended.

Depending on the types of copies being made (few originals or many sets of copies), Face-Up (Memory) might be the fastest setting short of outputting to the inner tray.

You mention 2530: I'm not sure how that one deals with Face-up in U331 since it has fewer options.

I believe there is a continuous scan option, similar in the scan-to-pc. It waits for the last page to go through before sending/printing. If you turn off continuous scan I believe it should print for each page instead of waiting for the whole document.
