KM-5050 will not pass long edge...can do anything you liike short edge.

This machine will fanfold 11 by 8 1/2 or 11/ 17 but passes legal or ltr-r. wads it up right at the switchback. The switchback actually turns on. Have replaced the switchback, replaced fuser till I found out it didn't matter, Cleaned reg clutch.
Basically beat my head against the linoleum for four hours. Set them up with ltr-r so they are not down but need help or medication.
Doesn't matter what tray and the jam codes are for the fuser even though the paper completely clears the fuser.

    So you're getting J40 - J47?
Does it have a job separator?

Does is have a DP-710 or DP-730? If the paper is not getting molested before or inside the fuser, I'd replace the AK-700.
Also check that the outlet from the AK-700 is at the same height as the finisher and even front to back. It's pretty common for OEM plain stands to sag under the weight of the machine, mis-aligning the machine exit. You can try to shim between the stand and the machine, or install a PF700 or PF750. Also the Quality Cabinets brand stands are better constructed, and do not seem to sag. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

No job seperator. It's a 710 but the jam happens right outside the fuser and never gets to the inside of the exit unit or the AK-700. It has a PF-750. This machine has been on site for at least a year and this just came up in the last couple days. The fanfold is not straight which is making me feel the paper is getting misaligned somewhere in the transport like maybe the registration section. There is another tech going out there this morning so we will see if he finds something totally ignorant that I missed. I don't usually have this much trouble with a jam issue.

Is the image mis-aligned or mis-registered on the jammed page? That would confirm your suspicions.
It could be happening even sooner. Do you know about the new style vertical path springs in the door on the VoyagerE series? I have had some success on Falcon III's, with installing two and sometimes three original style pressure springs on the idler rollers in the door. =^..^=

I will give you more detail when I get it but apparently the problem was in the feed shift assy.
You know the one with the stripper fingers and the four white rollers.

    how are you
    I'am jamman

I've seen this very same deal. First, open left side, look at the part with 4 silver claws.

now look at both ends. there is a tab broken off, when closed up the side without the tab

wont pass paper, paper skews and jams. 11 inchs, but will pass 8.5 inchs, it runs through the center.

look close or it will bite ya, it did me the first time. hey i,am an okie, only from tulsa.
