Mine will be fixed tomorrow. Apparently the fax board was popping DIMM's. Take the fax and the expansion memory out and the machine boots fine.

The causes of the problem may be:
    1 Operator Pannel (A)
    2 DIMM firmware (B)
    3 RAM (C)
    4 Hard disk (C)
    5 main card (C)

    You need the following materials:
    At least 256MB Compact Flash
    Pen drive with indicator LEDs
Dimm Main firmware (only if upgrading the operating unit can not be resolved)

    A) Operator Pannel
To understand whether the problem is related to the operator panel must determine whether the machine feeds the engine power, even if stuck in welcome.
In this case, the procedure is to reprogram the fw of the panel:
Copy the following files from the firmware upgrade pack v: 10.00 in the CF card:
    DL_PANL.2H7
    p_add-on_disk.img
    p_initrd.bin
    p_logo.bin
    p_pm.bin
    p_update.bmp
    p_zImage.kmpanel_for_c

If after 2 minutes the display shows the progress on the screen:
    - Copy the 7 panel files in the usb pen drive root
    - Turn off and remove the CF card from multifunction
    - Insert the pen drive into the USB slot of the main board (near to the RJ45 network)
    - Turn on your unit and pay attention to the usb pen drive LED
    - If the pen drive LED blink only three times is necessary to replace the main firmware dimm
    - Repeat the procedure for updating the panel FW with CF card
    - After completing this procedure proceed with the Firmware update complete.

    B) Firmware Engine - Main
If the machine does not supply any motor power is necessary to update the firmware on Engine:
Copy the CF card formatted in FAT copy just these 2 files:

    250ci 300ci ENG2JZ_1000020003.bin
    Engine FW (low) DL_ENGN.2JZ

    400ci 500ci ENG2H7_1000020003.bin
    Engine FW (high) DL_ENGN.2H7

If this fails you will need to replace the card engine.
After completing this procedure proceed with the Firmware update complete.

    C) RAM - Hard drive - Main pcb
In the most remote cases you must replace the following components:
    - RAM
    - Format the hard disk with an external drive to NTFS
    - The main pcb.

In italy we have solved in 5 cases!!!!!

    Re: stuck on welcome screen

Check your white and black usb connectors on the board in the back. I've swapped these two by mistake before and had the same error code.
