    KM 2030

Copier is ocassionally having 2 vertical line appear on copies. They don't travel the whole lenghth of the page copies are made 8.5x11R. I cleaned the developing unit and replace the M/C corona wire. Now getting look of overtoning. Was this cause possibly by work performed since it was noticable before???
    Thanks!!!

Most Kyocera machines nowadays are monocomponent.

When you clean the developing roller on a monocomponent system, any oil residue from the cleaner must be rinsed off with alcohol. After cleaning I usually rinse with alcohol, run developer refresh twice, then dry-wipe the entire surface of the developing roller.

If it did have anything to do with your cleaning method, the heavy backgrounding will gradually diminish with normal usage. It won't cure itself, but you'll notice a difference.

Maybe unrelated, but I have had very poor luck with restringing primary's on 30cpm or less Kyocera machines. My guess is that the blocks are beginning to short by then. Let us know what you discover. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
