    C0610 Error Code

I was initially told by my customer that the error code of the Kyocera Mita KM-4530 was a C0640, which is a hard drive error. However when I came to the copier it had a C0610 error code on the display. I addressed this problem last year by replacing the Main Circuit Board on the copier which seemed to work, atleast until now. The circuit board I used however came out of a working machine that I bought to use for a parts copier, so I knew that the circuit board was working. Is it possible I have had the bad luck of two bad circuit boards, or could something else be causing this problem? I am however wondering if the main switch can be a cause to the problem, because it doesn't feel as I think it should. Any help appreciated, thank you.

I would check and re-seat all the connectors and the DIMM on the board. Make sure you don't have any bent pins, and make sure you don't have a bad ground somewhere. Then reload the firmware, and give it another shot. If that doesn't get you anywhere, then you probably will have to replace that board. If this is a recurring issue, I would try to find out what caused it first.

I agree with Metalvoc. I'd focus on the DIMM, and firmware. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You should also run memory resets after flashing the firmware. I've had a few C06XX codes that wouldn't go away with just a firmware update by itself.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

    Re: C0610 Error Code

would the error screen still be up and the firmware be updating at the background?

I get 'program loading.." then few seconds later it switches to #################### call service C0610
