I got a message on the display “ copying is available in black in white”.
The default is in full color.
When you print or copy a document you get only black & white document not in color.
Any Idea?

Either your job accounting settings are set not to allow you to do color or if your not using accounting check toner, there is a setting in the machine to only allow B/W when color toner is out.
Print out a status page to see toner levels, there is an option to copy in black and white only when colour is out. Otherwise check your default settings
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
system menu>common setting, 2nd page.
You could run upward to 500 page of B&W with color out, per manual. BUT~! You cant use this feature when one of the color is already empty.
just been told by another source to:
- remove all toners, close front door, check it
- turn main off/on, check it
- insert 1 toner, check, turn off/on, check
- insert next toner, check , turn off/on, check
- insert next toner etc, until fault cleared
Agree with Phil, just had the same problem when yellow dev crapped out. Replaced and wouldn't copy/print in color.
All that does is reset the percentage of toner that the machine indicates, i bet one of the color toners is near empty(usually yellow), the machine is set to allow copies in b/w when color toner out. These machines are known for false toner level readings, usually indicating 70% after customer has removed toner, shook it and reinstalled.

Follow the steps Phil Mentioned. If a toner is nearly empty it is easy to tell by the weight of it. Just replace it with a new one.
