    KM6330 C7300

    Hi all,

Have problem with C7300(toner empty sensor).Seems to occur when the machine goes into "adding toner"mode. It tries to replenish for 5 minutes, then C7300.
So far, replaced toner empty sensor once, tested 1500copies,ok,call came back after 30k(maybe when toner empty detected?),
Just to be sure replaced sensor again, checked operation using u137,seems ok,checked hopper thoroughly for correct operation,Firmware done, replaced dev in another dev tank, ran u130,set-up fine, ready to copy.Ran 200 copies normal,ok,then 50 sky shots to induce "adding toner" mode,5 minutes later C7300!.Checked U137 again, sensor ok.
The customer not using Genuine Toner(i know!) but its the same toner for the last 1 1/2 years, problem only started 2 weeks ago.
I know theres toner going into the dev tank cause its actually overtoning. Why C7300 and not C7100 error for toner density sensor? Any Ideas?my next move maybe, clean out,new dev, genuine toner, toner density sensor..Thanks in advance..

Try using genuine toner. Hope it will solve the problem.

hi,yes, cleaned everything out,put new dev, genuine toner, and toner sensor for extra measure, machine is running so far, waiting for customer to use up current genuine toner, then machine will go into add toner, will supply another genuine toner and see then if it does the trick.
this also happened with generic toner but didnt recover after it went into adding toner mode so im playing wait and see.
will update when i get back to that stage,
    thanks for the input.
