Sending Jobs Log Status NG

I have a 400ci that is giving a status of NG in the sending log while faxing from PC. Any ideas what this means? How to fix? Thanks !

NG means literally No Good. It could be a line fault, or a configuration issue. In the UK and Ireland lots of customers forget to dial 9 or 0 to obtain an outside line, this results in TX failure.

Thanks Barnes, do you know why it would fax from the machine but not from PC ?

Do you have the fax set up as your default printer ? Have you configured the lan fax setup correctly.

Yes I get prompted for the fax number and the fax driver is installed correctly.
