    Copystar CS-4030

How do I add the duplex and other features to the computer so I am able to use them when I print from it? I have tried this method, Control Panel -> Printers -> Right click on 4030 -> Properties -> Device Settings tab -> check Duplex, but I don't get the Device Settings tab option to appear. Is there another way to set it up so it can be duplexed from the computer? Also, I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but the customer just upgraded their computer from XP to 7. Any help appreciated, thank you.

Do Right click on the printer 4030 go to printer properties, remember windows 7 have to different properties (printer properties and properties)
If this doesn't work is because you have the Wrong drivers

    There are other possibilities.

Yes, if you install a KM-4030 print driver the Auto Configure button won't work, but you'll still be able to manually select the checkboxes. Even if you have a completely wrong Kyocera model chosen, you should still be able to select the checkboxes.

Unless of course, the client does not have administrative rights to make changes in the driver. In that case you'll need to get with IT to get an administrative login. Then the configuration buttons won't be grayed out, and you can use Auto Configure, or manual checkboxes. Either way is fine.

It's also possible that the XP driver is just so old that it's not compatible with Win7. In that case, I'd un-install the driver, and use version 5.2.1108g which is the most current, and compatible with Win7. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
