Around 75-100k the fuser seems to fail. Especially the belt. A bulletin was released last week 10/7 with new firmware to correct the codes. Anyone else running into these problems too? Just a bad design flaw of fuser units I guess.

Just had another one fail today. The fuser belt was shredded. Wow!
I've heard KM/CS put a bounty on any dmg belt.
They want samples ASAP.
Idling colour developers are not healthy developers.
Just had one fail last week... and of course, no fusers available and no pm kits available... had to scream like a banshee to get one located to get customer up and running again... received a shim in the mail yesterday that is supposed to fix the issue, we'll see
This is a big problem also in the european market.
During the rotation, the belt shifting to the rear side of fuser unit.
The problem is the position of the adjuster plate of the fuser unit but at
this moment I don't know the correct position of the plate
I'm waiting a Service Bulletin about this problem.
The problem is the frame of the machine. Currently there is a jig from the manufacturer that will properly align the fuser for longer life. There is no part number for the jig at this time.
kyocera modified the Fuser assembly.please check the technical bulletin and replace with the new one.your problem will not repeat.
Thanks and Regards.
