    Serial numbers.

    Anybody know how to decipher the ser # on taskalfa?

    Why would you need to "decipher" a s/n on a Taskalfa? I can't think of any reason to.

    Simple ..I need to know the manufacturing date of a unit 90 miles away.....Yes I do know its on the label.however my customer is most uncooperitive

    Where to find it and what does it mean?
    Your serial number can be found on the back of your printer on a silver or whitesticker with either green or black writing. Please ensure, you are looking at theprinter, not any paper handling options as they will have their own serial numbers.

    That's interesting. I knew the first 3 letters were model but didn't know about the rest. Learn something new everyday.
