    KM 2530/4030 Drum Discoloration

Hi,I would like to ask about the KM 2530/4030. Why does the drum has discoloration? What seems to be the problem? Is there a way that it can be avoided? What are the possible parts that i should check or any adjustments that i should do?

ASi drums start out a sort-of coppery brown color. With use and time they will eventually acquire a dark blue tint. The coloring shown in your photo is common, and often makes no difference in the image quality. My guess is that it's the beginning of arcing of the primary charge to the drum surface. Preventatively you can keep the primary charge clean and/or replaced. In dirty environments it needs to be cleaned or restrung more often than in cleaner environments. Once the drum is like that there is nothing you can do, short of replacing it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
