Do a search. I've explained it extensively on here.
    Hope that helps !

    Hi,
first I would suggest when you first install the machine leave dhcp on.Then switch on the machine and it should pick up a lot of the information you need,ip address, dns etc. Then switch dhcp off so you have a static ip address for the machine.
You need to get the smtp server address from the customer and go to the web browser of the machine and input that and other fields if required. Then add an address in the address book.Test.If the customer is using internal mail server like outlook then it should be straightforward enough. You will always come across different problems but this networking lark is an ongoing learning expierience and an installation can be a 2 minute "piece of pee" or 2 hour ordeal.Best of luck!

Maybe this sounds a bit rude, but all these things can be found in the documentation that is supplied with the machine.

Just check what account settings are in your clients email client such as Outlook or whatever. That will tell you everything you need to know.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Yep, but without DNS, you won't get anywhere.
    Hope that helps !
