I have 3 models of Kyocera km 3035-km5035 and I have a problem when I tried to configure the scan mode. I entered the correct password and then pushed the next button "basic configuration" but it comes a label "unable scan". I have tried to return to the basic configuration, wait aprox. 2 min but nothing happened. Can somebody help me? Thanks. Samuel
You need to have a network cable plugged into the scanner board.
Unlike the printer settings, you must be connected in order to access the scanner configuration.
Or, if you are new to kyocera you might not realize that printing and scanning are transmitted through two separate NIC cards.
100% agree. You still have not specified what type of scanning you're trying for: SMB, FTP, Email, or TWAIN. Each is set up totally differently.Originally Posted by JR2ALTA

OK,
Firstly, make sure that you have a network cable connected to the scan card.
Secondly, assign an IP address to the scan card (open/unused address different than the print card).
Thirdly, Access the web interface to enter: SMTP information, default sender address, any addressbook entries.
Fourth, Load the TWAIN utility to the server or any PCs you intend to run the TWAIN application from:
