    KM 2560 - olivetti d-copia 2500MF - duplex printing

I have an olivetti d-copia 2500MF [KM 2560] with a very strange problem during duplex printing or copying. If I launch a job for duplex printing the machines stops printing mostly at the fourth page. Every motor that must turn during printing keeps turning and there's no particular message at the bottom of the display [just: 'executing print job']. The machine keeps in this status until I open the left cover, in the duplex there's a page waiting for the second print.
It looks like the machine is waiting for something to get started again with the page in the duplex.

    I already tried different fw releases [35, 36, 37, ...]
    also tried another:
hdd, engine pcb, main pcb, hvt pcb, control panel, duplex, laser, power pcb

until now still no result, any ideas?

To me, it sounds like you're getting corrupt print data. What you need to do is a data capture.

The simple way is to set up the desired print functions in the print driver, then check print to file. You'll get a pop-up window asking where you'd like to put the file, and what you'd like to name it. Save it as a .txt file extension. Once saved you can open that file with an application like TextPad. Attach the file here and I can take a look at it.

If the print-to-file looks correct, then you need to take the data capture at the machine. Format a CF card on the machine. Copy the three data capture files to the PRE folder on the CF card (02autostart, 80ufilt30, 80ufilt30). Power Off the MFP, insert CF card, power On MFP. Send the desired print job. With this model, the job will print automatically, as well as store the data to the CF card. Power Off. Remove CF card. Insert CF card into your card reader on your PC. Look in the PRE file, rename the file to a .txt file extension. Open the file named DataS001.txt with Textpad.

Or you could just skip ahead, and re-load print driver version 5.2.1108g
But how boring would that be? I want to see the data captures. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
