I've got three separate definitions for this code, depending on which source you choose to believe. Naturally none of the definitions has a really clear explanation:

    1) Component: CreateBox (Memory Tx). Category: ImageProcess. Crucial (no memory, invalid parameter, etc.).
    2) PDL Interpreter: REN_INT_ERR_FACTOR_GENERAL (other general error).
    3) An error is detected at the Print image process section.

On a couple of occasions firmware has resolved this error for me.
Should you choose to believe definition #3, you might say there is corrupt print job/driver, sending bad data down to your printer. You can know for sure when you put it back onto the offending network. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I have had similar issues on some of the new line in schools. I have had to reload the print driver on their server and push them out to all who were printing to the equipment. And still would get these codes. Found out that on certain web sites and especially websites that had cookbooks for some reason this code would appear. I had to change some settings in the driver when loading and all has been good since. Though it doesn't really make sense why kyocera can't make compatible drivers like hp (which seems to print everything) does.

Have this problem often with all kyoceras.

Probably 80% of the time, it's something printed from internet explorer. It won't happen every time even with the same webpage. Generally clearing out the offending PC's print queue and power cycling the copier works, but my only permanent solution thus far is recommending they use any other internet browser. After the browser change, They don't have the problem anymore when printing websites.

the rest of the time its a corrupt file. It only happens with this one file on this one PC, and its generally a file that has either been downloaded, emailed, or something that has been saved, modified, saved, modified for years. Eventually the file becomes corrupt and you just need to recreate the file from scratch if copying and pasting to a new file doesn't work.

On a rare occasion, it's a picture in the file that's corrupted somehow.

This is just my experience with a majority of FXXX codes, mostly F248.

How about the " CF278 " error code? does it follow the same T/S route? I also see it in error code print out with the client not saying anything about it.
    Thanks

Energy Saving Manager: 1) Power is turned Off at main power without turning off the power at the panel first. 2) Upgrade firmware to the most recent version (v. 3.00 or newer on CS-250ci).
