    Mita DC 1205 damp dev

I replaced Dev.and the drum. the copier worked good for short while then it start damping the dev on one end of the dev unit and that end is inside of the machine, the toner or devoloper will be droped in trans cw and trans cw unit and it will not fused.

I checked Dev unit structure it self no fault found.

What is the idea for this?

    Thanks for any help.

your developing unit is warped. If you take the unit out of the machine
and set it on a flat surface you will see that it is bowed up in the center
    under the mag roller.
This causes the developer to flow usaully to the back but I\'ve also seen
it flow foreward and dump off the end of the mag roller.
You can get the housing for the DV unit from Mita but I\'ve
found it easier to just replace the whole unit
