Taskalfa 2550ci vs 3050ci engine difference

So i understood, that the Taskalfa 2550ci shares it's engine with the Ecosys FS-C8025MFP. But has the same main controller and display as the TA 3050Ci.

Can somebody please explain the differences between the two ENGINES?

hmm ... like the difference between an all plastic frame machine and a welded metal frame machine. The difference between an optimistic 200K maintenance cycle and an optimistic 300K maintenance cycle. The difference between a 29.8mm organic drum diameter and a 30.8mm ASi drum diameter.

Everything is just lighter duty, shorter life, and the expected yields for the Hanabi are more wildly optimistic than for the Saturn, especially toner yield.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

So the would 3050 would fit larger companies en workgroups that do;nt give a sh*t about the machine. Is better for 5 year of beating and kicking and slamming the doors.

2550 Would fit a small office, with a boss around all day checking how personnel treat his property?

And how often do machines reach their PM count, what fails if they don;t?

Yes, your analysis is correct. Personally I've got ~6 of each in the field.

The Hanabi engine will require premature replacement of drums. I'm theorizing that the marks on the drum are bits of cleaning blade adhered to the drum (that won't clean off). They're also known for main board problems. Hopefully the latest part number has that solved. This machine is a no-tools machine. You can do a full PM with a PM kit and a stretch-and-dust cloth.

The Venus engine doesn't seem to have many problems. They've fixed the waste bottle problem. The fusers are lasting almost to the PM. The bridge units still cause jamming problems. I'd rather see this model without the external finisher (no bridge).

I mis-spoke in the first post. I meant to say Venus but typed Saturn. All the same things apply. =^..^=
