    kYOCERA 4050 , SC 7410

Hello. I installed the repair kit MK-715 in Kyocera 4050. After switching on the copier shows code SC 7410. It turned out that the machine had drum unit DK - 716 installed, and the repair kit had a drum unit DK - 715 . Can I use the drum unit DK - 715 instead of the drum unit DK - 716? If so, what do i need to do? thanks

Correct. If I remember correctly the drum itself is the same, the difference is with the chip and the drum cleaning lamps. If you insert the new drum into the old unit it will work, but you'll still be stuck with the maintenance indication. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Another option I have had success with us to swap the connector board at the back of the drum unit. Though I wouldn't advise doing this if you are trying to put a 3050 unit into a 4050 or 5050 as the CQ will likely decline rather quickly.
