    FSC2126 Jamming @ pick up & @ Reg J0501 J4020

We have lots of these machines out and they are pretty good, I have been reliably informed that they have far fewer pickup jams J0501 if you remove the white clip, we tested it and its true. This is with clip attached

It really reduces pick up jams.

Heres the one i need help with: I have about 15 FSC2126 that in jam history show J4020 which is a reg jam at power on. I went and watched one of these initally I thought it was the duplex door partially opening during runs, but I ruled that out by holding it shut and running the machine but I still got a jam about every 12 pages, I then removed the power lead from the machine and fitted the Kyocera lead that was shipped with the machine and then powered up. The machine then ran 200 pages no jams I reset sim903 & I thought this was fixed, went back to site three days later and back to J4020 anyone got any thoughts on this one. please?

Thanks for the info. We've seen quite a few of these lately.

As far as your issue, we haven't experienced that & have a number of these out. Firmware up to date etc.?
    Hope that helps !

J0501 we had one that the tray was causing the fault, 2 little arms that flip up or round, clue was 2 dents in the leading edge,

J4020 only ref i have for that was on a small b/w FS-1030 MFP and the reg sensor was sticking, hold the sensor down instead of flicking and see if that shows any signs of sticking

Thanks copylogic. Removing the little white lever thingy solved my upper cassette jams. I've got a couple other machines to try that out on.

Is it the same feed system in the optional 500 sheet tray? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There's a bulletin out regarding this. Actually the part change it the spring & black lever in the cassette that meets up with the white lever. The bulletin says it's for the 250 cassette only, so I assume it's not in the optional cassette. I haven't verified it though.
    Hope that helps !

If having problem finding the info on KM site like I did. It's actually a Q/A D027-2KT-0022, it is six pages long on no feed from cassette 1, J0501 for 250 cassettes only it says.

Good tip on the bulletin. Replacing the stopper hook and spring worked for me.
