I haven't been back yet but I will check the guide latch toward rear of machine. The front one I remember was ok but the back one may be broken, I don't remember having to unlatch that rear latch??

Strange thing is it did feed about 5-6 pages then jammed. This machine has been sitting for 9 months approx. with a add black toner light on that I had to first resolve. Then when the add black toner light was resolved it warmewd up ready and ran the 5-6 copies and jammed as mentioned. After that jam it never fed again from the cassettes and always asked the removal of paper from tray 1 feed area. I even swapped the feeds from cassette 1 and 2 with no change in condition?

That pre-registration roller is driven by a clutch, so you won't be able to test it in U030 motor test mode. I've had that clutch make noise before, but not cause drive problems. There are multiples of that same clutch in the back if you want to swap it out with another, but it's not convenient by any means. If I had the inclination to take the drive assembly apart, I would have the clutch on hand, and install it regardless of the results of my examination. =^..^=

does the lift motor keep turning slowly? bad motor and engine board?

Exactly what I have Venom. Do you have part no. for board C3232e . I cant find in manual . I have replaced motor but it keeps driving up and jams cassette shut . I have disconnected new motor to save damage until I replace board..
